Nuove teorie sull'aquisto di lingue nei bambini.
Credo che funzionera' anche in italiano!
New Thoughts On Language Acquisition: Toddlers As Data Miners
ScienceDaily (Feb. 4, 2008) — Indiana University researchers are studying a ground-breaking theory that
young children are able to learn large groups of words rapidly by data-mining.
>
"This new discovery changes completely how we understand children's word learning," Smith said. "It's very exciting."
Yu
and Smith say it's possible that the more words tots hear, and the more
information available for any individual word, the better their brains
can begin simultaneously ruling out and putting together word-object
pairings, thus learning what's what.

Lido Cantarutti, director of the Italian Film Festival of Marin County,
announced today the films for the six-week fall festival.
The program features recent films exploring the dramatic and comedic range of
Italy's filmmakers. Cantarutti said, "We are excited to once again
feature an excellent film by one of Italy's most acclaimed directors,
Pupi Avati. His films are always a hit with our audience, and this
year's film, The Second Wedding Night, is a sure-to-please complex but
tender love story set in Puglia after the end of World War II."
