 The College of Marin Department of Modern Languages is presenting the
Second Annual College of Marin International Film Festival, featuring
films representing foreign languages taught at the college.The film festival is open to the public and is FREE of charge. All
films are shown in Olney Hall 96, right off College Avenue, near the
corner of Sir Francis Drake Blvd. in Kentfield.

A cult favorite among Italian youth "Tre metri sopra il cielo" is a tale about a volatile romance that takes a tragic turn.
Directed by Luca Lucini and starring Riccardo Scamarcio and Katy Louise
Saunders. The film is primarily in Italian with English subtitles.
Seats are FREE and on a first-come, first-seated basis, so plan to
arrive around 6:30 p.m. for a good seat!

 Girotondo Italian School offers an interesting cooking class in Italian "Make Gnocchi From Scratch".
Saturday, February 7th from 10 am - 12
Chef Giovanni, former owner of Ristorante Mezzo Mezzo in San Rafael & winner of the Best Chef of Marin 2008 Award (by the readers of the North Bay Bohemian) will teach you how to make gnocchi from scratch. This is a hands-on class where you will make the dough, knead, roll, and form the gnocchi. You will be given recipes for the dough & you will demonstrate how to make gnocchi with piselli & pancetta.
The cost is $22 per person (cash or check accepted)
