Tiburon Italian Conversation Group

Tiburon Library   1:00-2:00pm Thursday in Founders Room

The group meets weekly to discuss current events, the arts, and other topics of interest.

The library has purchased foreign language newspapers, magazines, and other resources to support their programs. You are welcome to stop by.

North Bay Italian Cultural Center Santa Rosa

Italian Language Classes in Santa Rosa. The at the Italian Cultural Center language program offers a full range of instruction from basic beginners through intermediate to advanced classes. Weekly informal Incontro gatherings for members with some knowledge of Italian encourage conversation and reading skill improvement.

WAC Italian Dinners Bay Area

If you have not attended one of the WAC Italian dinners in the Bay Area, you definitely should.

This is a group hosting monthly social dinners for people who speak Italian fluently or at an intermediate to advanced level.  The group is a mix of Italians and also people who have lived in Italy or studied Italian.

The events are part of the World Affairs Council program of international language dinners but membership in WAC is not a requirement to participate. The only requirement is that you converse in Italian during the dinners.

I've been attending dinners here for several years and have always enjoyed the people that go, it's a great group of people.

Parliamo Italiano San Francisco

This is a San Francisco Italian language group that meets twice a month to speak in Italian. This is a laid back conversation group that aims to have fun and enjoy the company of regulars and new strangers while practicing Italian.

The group tends to consist of folks who can speak at an advanced level, or who used to speak at an advanced level and need to brush up. They meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm at Crepes on Cole.

Italian Meetup San Francisco

Meetup.com is an interesting social networking site, which offers many different meeting types, all self-started by individuals.

They offer italian language meetups in San Francisco, which you might check out.

Meetup charges organizers a fee for each event, so there is usually a small fee.
